Legacy

The foundation of our company was built long before the first roof was ever installed. It began on a small farm in Nova Prata, Brasil. Where our founder, Carmelindo Perin, learned the meaning of hard work, discipline, and responsibility at an early age.

Growing up alongside his nine brothers, Carmelindo spent his childhood waking up before sunrise-often as early as 4:00 am-to help tend the family farm. Caring for chickens, cows, goats, and horses taught him the values of commitment, perseverance, and teamwork. Together, the brothers formed a bond built on loyalty, respect, and an unbreakble work ethic that would stay with them for life.

At Just 18 years old, Carmelindo moved to hte United States in pursuit of opportunity and a better future through honest, hardworking labor. His older brother, Adelino Perin, was already working in the roofing industy and introduced him to the trade that would ultimately define his legacy.

On Carmelindo's very first day on a roof, he was entrusted with completing one side of an apartmnet complex roofing project completely on his own. Despite never having installed shingles before, he completed the work in just 30 minutes with remarkable precision and determination. From that moment forward, he dedicated himself fully to masternig the roofing trade with integrity, courage, passion, and pride.

No roof was every too steep, no challenge too difficult. Carmelindo became known for being the first to clib, the hardest worker on the job, and the last to leave until the work was completed correctly. Alongside his brothers, Adelino and Darci Perin, the Perin name became recognized across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York for quality craftmanship, honesty, and dependable roofing work.

Today, at 60 years old, Carmelindo still carries the same determination he had as an 18 year old on his very first day. He continues to work side by side with his crew, personally ensuring ever installation is completed with precision, professionalism, and care.
